Chalk Up One For Me

I totally score a HUGE point in life.

I met a guy. He's amazing. Shall we weigh the pros and cons?

PROS:
- He's Japanese. We all know how much I love Asian men.
- His name is Kouichi. Enough said.
- He speaks perfect English.
- His speech is sprinkled with smilies galore, something I find adorable and, quite frankly, pretty much necessary.
- He's 5'6" - shortness is always a good thing in my book.
- He's slim and slender, as are most Japanese guys.
- He's an advocate of taking things slow, a mindset that could be very healthy for me to welcome into my own life.
- We're both writers - fantasy and science fiction.
- We share a love of Japanese music (Miyavi, for example) and anime - especially yaoi.
- We both agree that it should be a crime to be as hot as Gackt.
- He's 17 - not a huge age difference there.
- He's going to a community college, so he obviously wants to move forward in life.
- We both plan to get "normal" jobs to pay the bills while we write novels - after college, obviously.
- He's a Scorpio; I tend to do fairly well with Scorpios, despite the fact that Aries (my sign) and Scorpio aren't incredibly compatible.
- We have undeniable chemistry.
- Simply put, he's just adorable.

CONS:
- He lives in Arizona, while I live in New Hampshire.
- He's a very affectionate person in general - assuming we do wind up going out, this is something that could inflame my jealous tendencies in the future.

I know what you're thinking - those are some big cons. But I think the pros outweigh the cons and I really do feel good about this one. No doubts so far... but I've only known him for a day. He invited me to a "club" with him on IMVU (a virtual chatting program where you design avatars to chat with people) and afterwards I said that I had fun and we should do it again sometime. His response was: "Yes, I would like that. ^_^"

Let's see how day number two goes.
